Santa Espinal, RN

Ms. Santa Espinal has made public service her life’s work. Santa began her career in public service with the New York City Police Department where she served as a Police Officer for 20 years.  Toward the end of her career, she found that her passion was in nursing and while working full time, raising three children and two fur babies, she attended nursing school at night and on the weekends, while simultaneously working a second job as a Nursing Assistant in a hospital to gain experience in patient care. Santa has been in nursing management for the past eight years, and working as a Director of Nursing the past three years. Santa joined Team Hamlet in February of 2021. Santa aspires to ensure all residents and their families feel at home and strives to deliver quality, loving care.  She believes a warm smile, a hug, and kind words are the best medicine.
