The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is proud to share their CARF accreditation with the community, accredited for both Inpatient Rehabilitation Programs and the Stroke Specialty Program.
As the only CARF Accredited Stroke Inpatient Sub-Acute level Rehabilitation program in New York State, The Hamlet’s Signature Stroke Rehabilitation program provides comprehensive care addressing neuromuscular re-education, functional mobility, activities of daily living, and cognitive-linguistic deficits.
Treatment focuses on restoring function through task-specific training, strength and endurance development, balance retraining, and compensatory strategy development.
Individualized treatment plans are designed to optimize functional outcomes, support a safe return to home, and help patients regain the abilities needed for their prior level of function and daily routines.
