Marie-Germaine Rancy, RN, MSN, CDCES, CWCN
Wound Care/Nursing Education

Marie-Germaine has a Master of Science in Nursing from Malloy University. She has been a Registered Nurse for 26 years. Her Political Science professor encouraged her to pursue a career in nursing. This profession has allowed her to advocate for and care for individuals during their most vulnerable moments. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to educate patients, their families, and her colleagues by sharing her expertise. In wound care and education, she values seeing tangible healing and building strong patient connections. These roles combine hands-on care with critical thinking, allowing her to empower patients and staff through education on prevention, nutrition, and care techniques, thereby supporting greater autonomy. She is continually seeking ways to enhance her education and well-being to be a better daughter, sister, wife, mother, and friend. She achieves this by following a healthy lifestyle and serving as a positive role model for those around her.
