Christine Zambito

Christine has been working at The Hamlet in the therapeutic recreation department since January 2010. She began as a student intern and completed her 480-hour internship under the direction of The Hamlet’s Therapeutic Recreation Director, Mary Langenhahn. Christine worked on both the long-term care unit and the sub-acute rehab unit as a recreation therapist and eventually transitioned to the role of assistant director of the recreation department. Christine graduated from St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, NY with a bachelor of science degree in recreation. She also obtained a certificate in gerontology and a minor in psychology. Christine takes pride in having a profession that helps make a difference in the lives of those in need. We strive to provide our residents with meaningful and purposeful activities each and every day.
