Lamenah Merriwether, BSW

Lamenah has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and is a NYS Licensed Real Estate Salesperson. She has been in Social Work for 12 years. As a child growing up, living with her mother, her grandmother, and her great-grandmother being a strong presence, she realized that she had a special place in her heart for the elderly, and after interning for two years in a nursing home, she knew she was meant to work with the geriatric population. Lamenah enjoys listening to the wisdom and advice of elderly people and considers them wise. Helping not only residents but helping the family of residents and making them feel special, is her favorite part of her job. In her spare time, she loves working in real estate. She is a mother of two girls, eleven years old and seven years old, and she enjoys spending time with family and loved ones. She also enjoys traveling and reading.
