Mary Langenhahn, CTRS
Director of Therapeutic Recreation and Volunteer Services
Mary Langenhahn is a native of Long Island. During her early college career, she devoted time volunteering at a local nursing home where she first experienced the use of recreation and enjoyable activities to bring purposeful change. Mary graduated St. Joseph's College with her bachelors in therapeutic recreation with a certificate in gerontology. Following graduation, she joined the team at The Hamlet as a recreation therapist. Mary has spent 11 years as a devoted therapist enhancing the quality of life of our residents. Mary was promoted to director of recreation recently in 2018. Mary lives locally with her husband and a proud mother of two beautiful children.
