Alexander Stein, OTR/L
Assistant Director of Rehabilitation
Alexander has a Masters in Occupational Therapy, and a Bachelor in Health Science from Stony Brook. She has been in healthcare for 5 years. She went into healthcare originally as a suggestion from her Mom because her younger brother had injured himself on the playground at school and went to Physical Therapy. It turned out he had a very minor fracture on his right leg and had to wear a boot for several weeks to heal. He was stubborn and did not want to do his home exercise program, so she turned it into a game in the backyard and she did his exercises everyday. That's when her Mom had suggested this career path. Her favorite part of her job is being able to problem solve and provide best care for residents. In her spare time, she likes to cook and bake, exercise at the gym and play board games, especially Clue and Splendor.
